Newborn sleeping
Sleep is just as important as nutrition for a newborn's regular mental and physical development;
it is safer by following these tips
- make the baby take the position lying on its back, on a rigid mattress and without a pillow
- do not smoke in the environment where the newborn baby lives
- keep the room temperature at about 20° C
- do not cover the newborn baby too much and do not wrap him tightly in blankets; in case of fever, he should be covered less.
- after the first month of life, with breastfeeding already started, give the pacifier with a rigid mask and soft teat with European safety mark EN 1400 until the first year, then avoid its use to prevent dental problems.
